The first few days of the MTC have been crazy! It is the hardest thing I have ever done, but it is also the greatest thing. When I first came in, I was overwhelmed by the amount of Missionaries and the concept of just being here in the MTC. I adjusted fairly quickly to the fact of just being here, however, there is no way to adjust to the amount of studying we do. Our days are long, our nights seem short, but I know it is all happening for a reason and I definitely feel the growth both spiritually and mentally! I have learned more spanish in the last 5 days here than I did in 2 years of high school spanish. It is pretty incredible. The spirit is so strong here it is unreal. Everywhere you go, no matter who you are with you can feel the spirit so much! Last night we watched the Joseph Smith Restoration movie and It made me think of Nauvoo. I miss it there so much but the spirit felt here is so similar to the spirit felt in Nauvoo. My District is Awesome!!! Elder Leavitt, Elder Hansen, Elder Soderberg, Elder Jorgensen, Hermana Hatfield, Hermana Heninger, Hermana Larson, and Hermana Rohde! We are all very good friends already and I know that we are together for a reason to help strengthen eachother! My companions are great. Elder Jorgensen and Elder Soderberg. We are in a trio because Elder Soderberg's companion never showed up...here is the cool part! Not only is Elder Stubbs in my Zone, he is also My roommate, and his companions are all leaving today so for now I am kind of his Substitute companion. How awesome is that??? What are the odds? I am so happy that it worked out like this! Everyone in the zone has so much respect for him and he knows so much that it has definitely been a blessing to have him here! This gospel is true! Never before have I felt the spirit testify to me so much! I know that I am here because I was called of God, and I know that I will be blessed for it!

Love you all!
